Matt Moore is an appointment only tattoo artist whose style revolves around strong illustrative components while trying to stay true to fine art traditions. He also enjoys tattooing both in black and grey and in color, so feel free to ask for either for your tattoo.
Matt works Monday through Saturday each week between 10am and 5pm, and requires a one hour deposit ($160) to set an appointment, and his hourly rate is $160
*Because of the overly long wait times between taking on new project requests, Matt no longer uses the shop newsletter to book.
You may submit your new project request at any time, but if you fail to fill out ALL of the fields of your new project request, your request will be discarded without response.
Acceptance of your project does NOT mean he is ready to schedule you! Matt will contact you when he has an opening that lines up with your stated availability.
By filling out this project request form you are agreeing that you have read and understand all the instructions, rules, and limitations as stated on this page.
New project request for Matt Moore
Please note a few things:
~Matt will typically respond to emails every other Monday evening unless he is out of town or sick.
~ If your idea has changed since you were put on his waiting list, notify him when Matt calls to set up your consultation. BEFORE you come in. NOT at the consultation.
~If you are not available or ready when Matt contacts you, you do NOT go to the back of his list! You stay in the same spot you were before, and he’ll call you when his next appropriate opening is available.
As usual, thank you ALL for your patience, and subscribe to our shop newsletter to get tattooed by any of Black Hive’s other artists!
HOWEVER, for last minute openings due to cancellations and custom designs he posts randomly on a first come first served basis, follow Matt on his Instagram account: @m_moore_
And now, for anyone interested in a little more background…
Matt was born and raised here in Jacksonville Florida and has been interested in art ever since he could pick up a pencil. His interest in art truly peaked after his first year of college when he found a love for the art of design. Starting to create personal art of his own, Matt began to find inspiration everywhere. Being a Floridian he finds most of his inspiration from hobbies and his Florida environment, all the while keeping an open eye for new avenues of inspiration.
Matt has been going to college since 2015 and is currently pursuing his degree in Fine Arts. He has been tattooing since 2009 and is always looking for new ways to refine his craft and provide the best possible product in his Art. Matt is now looking forward to an even brighter future at Black Hive to improve his Art and perfect his craft.
